We are a trainee-centered lab.

Trainees are intellectual partners in experiment development, design, analysis, and interpretation. We value any and all opportunities to promote trainees as the faces and names of the research. The lab values being the toughest reviewers of our work. We aim to get the story right. To do so, we scrutinize our own data to ensure it’s free from bias and represents our utmost commitment to quality control. We believe that ‘iron sharpens iron’. We always attempt to break our own models and challenge our views of how the brain processes the external and internal worlds to generate behavior.
